How we got here

After working with many minority-led startups across the US, we discovered that non-technical startup founders face a common obstacle: access to technical talent.

And after working with hundreds of Black and Brown engineers from across the US, they faced a common obstacle: finding companies to work for that are meaningful to them.

Here’s where Tech Stack’d comes in: we aim to bridge the gap between these two groups with community and resources.

But how do we enable these engineers to be able to work on meaningful projects?

The biggest challenge engineers face when having to choose between joining a company that is impactful vs. not is capital.

That’s why at Tech Stack’d we focus on getting engineers economically comfortable so that they’ll be able to take more risk by joining a startup that helps their community.
